Updates from last Saturday to now-Saturday morning I took Cooper to equine and it was the last time because we need to figure out what our new insurance is covering before we know about that cost. And Shelly got knee surgery on her right knee and that went well so that’s good. And then on Saturday I went to Shea‘s baby shower and he had Ben and Jamie babysit so that we could go out to the break and then The kids played for a while and then they went home and then played Warhammer Stalin. And then on Sunday, we went to church again and cleaned and stuff and then I went over to my mom‘s house to help her go through stuff and pack for the move and she gave me a bunch of stuff so that was nice and then on Monday I hosted Bunco! and we got to see Saeed again for the first time in a while because he’s back from his vacation now and McKinley has had school this week. And today she had her second week of dance and she literally just cried at the door begging to leave the entire class. But we had a good day other than that and got all our homeschool done and Saeed came over and we ran an errand at the UPS and we ate Subway sandwiches for dinner. Lately I have just been feeling really grateful and lucky and excited about how independent the kids have become even just getting in and out of the car and going into a place is so much easier than it used to be and they’re so patient waiting in long lines and they can be pretty reasonable about things. But McKinley has been having a lot of accidents lately and I’m just still having to remember that she is in the three year-old phase, where she’ll just decide that she doesn’t want dance suddenly and cry at the door the whole time I found some drawing on the walls upstairs so that wasn’t fun. But it’s so cute her playing with her little dog stuffed animal and she said her name is Aubrey and then she found another dog after Audrey got peed on accidentally lol and he was black and white toy dog and so she said maybe we can name him soccer? And I was like oh yeah cause he’s black and white like a soccer ball! And she’s like no that’s not it lol so we named him Hudson instead. And one of the games that Talon used to play with her was he would act like a baby and she would pretend to like take care of him and so he says I’m gonna pretend to be a baby and she comes over to him and says” no, don’t act like a baby. It’s weird” lol😂. So the three-year-old phase is kind of like they’re going back-and-forth between being reasonable and doing amazing things and being so independent but also still having moments where there kind of like a baby still cause they’re half baby half kid at this age. She has been really really into puzzles lately and it’s amazing how long a puzzle can keep her entertained and she will stay concentrating and trying over and over and over again, so it’s pretty impressive. Lately I’ve been trying to find a new way to freshen up my hairstyle so I’ve been having ChatGPT tell me different Ways. I could do it show me pictures and stuff so that’s been kind of funny and cool.
