Firestation tour

This was so amazing and im so glad we went back because at the time of our appointment thye were out on a call so we ended up going back later and caught them and they gave us the best tour ever! cooper was so interested and was paying attention adn asking questions adn they were so patient and gave us 100% of their attention while we were there it was so cute. they were seriously the nicest people on the planet. He was talking about how he can use tools to get in to save cooper (or anyone in a hypothetical situation) and cooper said but why do you break the window? and he said because you're special, you cant be replaced but that window can be replaced." and cooper said "oh thank you so much for saving my life!" and later he said " i want to help people who are sick or injured like that too! I'm ready to grow up now so i can be a firefighter"

it was so amazing learning more about all they do. they gave the kids a hat and a sticker they inspired him by telling him ok if you want to be a firefighter you have to exercise and eat healthy food and learn math and english can you do that? amd he said yes! i do math and ela at home! lol 

this was cooper saying here dad you can have a sticker too! lol he's so thoughtful

that was the sweetest cutest memory and i will probably treasure it forever

he had it on for a few seconds and then dropped and said oh my thats heavy lol 

the whole suit is like 90 pounds!

Play day with the Blacks

we had so much fun (these were dif days) but we went on a double witht hem adn also did a play day over spring break and it was such a good time

Regular Life stuff

her beauty process is very interesting... lotion in the hair, kinda swirl it around in there, eye shadow on each cheek, primer on each hand, and then "oh too slippery wipe it off", then lipstick, then hold the lash curler up to the eye for a second, then more lipstick lol 

The way that they play together and their imaginations are so funny lol so in the basement when we were playing, the boat was a spaceship and we were astronauts and then McKinley accidentally dropped something out the window so she had to go get it and she was swimming through the water to go get it lol so apparently it’s like a submarine/spaceship at the same time lol or maybe she thinks that space is water 😂 but we all needed helmets because astronauts wear helmets lol but no shirts

This was so funny when Jake and Sadie were trying to get through the dog door at the same time. It didn’t really look like they were trying very hard though maybe they both just wanted to peek at the same time at what we were doing in the garage.

We have been into spraying the hose and digging again in the backyard now that it has warmed up

This was him in the front yard saying “do a cartwheel I’ll spot you” lol I think it’s so cute how they want to play together all the time and then also sleep in the same room every night. They’re like best friends and I’m jealous of that.

Isn’t it crazy how fast the time flew by?! 

She wanted to be the teacher in homeschool so she was drawing on the whiteboard and saying things and pointing to it and then she sat down and crossed her legs like that and was reading us a book and then when Cooper or I talked, she said, “be quiet, sweetie” lol

And then after the fashion show it was “quick! Get in my boat! And be quiet because the earth giants are sleeping!”

At the park with neighbors but the two of them go off together to check out other things lol

I have been loving the warm weather so that we can get back to getting outside every afternoon and I love how they can both independently ride a scooter and I can trust them to not go into the street and they do a really good job of compromising with each other whenever it’s time to go home if one wants to go and the other doesn’t or which way we go or whatever the case may be

These are my gym photos lol I have no idea why they have to make the room red. Is it supposed to be energizing? Cause I still feel really really tired every time I get there, but I do think that exercising in general has given me a lot more energy throughout the day usually and I thought it was cool that I was on the leaderboard. I was second for attending the most studio red classes. Oh, and the other picture I do red light therapy after the workout is over and while I’m in there, I listen to a book or a podcast and it’s really nice

We have such pretty views at our house and I have really liked living here

Morse sleepovers

In this one, she is half on and half off her bed lol

And these are the shenanigans they get up to when they are supposed to be sleeping lol one time they shredded an entire roll of toilet paper in there, one time they emptied out the garbage can in there and another time they emptied out her entire closet of clothes and made a huge amount of clothes on the floor

This was the big day that they have been waiting for and saving up all of their money for a long time and she finally got her unicorn and he finally got his soldier costume and they were both so excited and I was really impressed with how long he delayed the gratification for how young he is and never lost sight of his goal. He just kept saving and it took him over a month.

Easter Sunday
So on Easter Sunday, we drove out to Stansbury Park to Brian‘s house for dinner and it was nice that Talon‘s mom and dad cooked the ham for us so that I didn’t have to worry about that cause I’ve been known to ruin hams before lol so the kids fell asleep in the car on the way there and then we just got played and hung out while we were there. It was a good time

And in the afternoon on Easter before we left, we took a nap and kind of just relaxed outside a little bit

We went to the Draper campus and it was packed, of course, but we had a good time and we all enjoyed being back at that campus after it had been so long

We got some decent pictures lol I think my standards have lowered a lot with pictures with kids. That’s not worth a huge battle so it as long as I guess something even if they’re not looking at the camera lol it’s better than nothing.

They’re so cute

We went to brunch that morning at Mills Café, and it was really good!

This was Easter morning after they found all their baskets and playing with the gifts

They liked this game lol check out the look on her face!

It was also funny that they both sounded like Venus and Serena Williams playing tennis because it was like “ha ha huh!

Easter Train

We went on the Heber train and saw the Easter bunny with Kiersten and Sampson and Jordan and afterward went to lunch and it was really fun! I think that the kids were excited because it was their first time ever on a train except for the little mini one that goes around the park and the train went kind of slow and we did little dances and they told us jokes and they passed out Easter eggs

And the views were really pretty

They had a lot of candy so she was loving that part of it lol

They didn’t really wanna take a picture so I’m glad that they did anyway just for me lol and I was also glad that they wore their matching sweaters for it
