Today everyone is sick. McKinley and I went to the dollar store to finish up everything that we needed for Christmas. Halfway through homeschool this morning, Cooper wanted to go to sleep. McKinley kept opening and closing the door during homeschool and I think it’s cute that Cooper wants to do homeschool with kinder there now. And I kept telling her we need to leave the door open and so then after Cooper took a nap and we went to go back up there to do more homeschool she said I’ll leave the door open this time while I promise. And I just thought it was so cute that she remembered the hours later a small request I had made. It wasn’t a long conversation. It was just a side comment. Another cute thing was they wanted to do family cuddles in bed and then that turned into us, pretending to be Santa and wake up to toys. We had Zupas for dinner and watched The Grinch and Saeed came over again, and McKinley did a new sensory bin. Cooper tried it too, but it was only like 20 seconds before he was like nope don’t wanna get messy. I need to wash my hands. After dinner, McKinley said I want to make heart-shaped cookies and take them around to the other houses for the friends and I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful
