24 & 25

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were both amazing! on Christmas Eve we went to church and it was really nice because David and Sara went early and saved us seats so it made it a lot less chaotic for us. And it was cute to see McKinley all excited about it and she remembered from last year. we get cookies and candles and then they didn’t have cookies this year and so she said shoot and I thought that was so funny and I loved that the kids let me get a family picture twice on Christmas Eve once at the church and once at home before we went to bed and McKinley was dancing and singing along and all excited for the candle part at the end and she was so well-behaved and like stayed still, and in her seat instead of running around the whole church and aisles like she did last year and Cooper fell asleep and then we went after that to Brian‘s house in Stansbury Park, we changed into our matching Christmas jammies and we did fondue with the Graff side of the family and we did a white elephant gift exchange and then a few minute to win it games and all the kids played and then when we came home we left the reindeer food out on the front porch and we didn’t have any cookies and so one of our neighbors had given us muddy buddies and I said oh what about these? Do you think you would like that and McKinley had a bite and said yeah Anna will love that lol so we left that out for Santa and then on Christmas morning my mom came over and it had a pretty slow pace to it. it was pretty nice that the kids were following directions and just waiting till it was their turn and taking their time playing with each thing that they got and they were so excited about everything. It was so cute to see. They got a lot of really good stuff and then the last gift was the bounce house. We had them follow the string down to the basement and then it was all blown up down there and they loved that and then after they kind of took a nap, (my mom took a nap, but really nobody else did. The kids just stayed awake in their rooms and I cleaned.) then Sara and Dave came over and gave the kids more gifts and we went to go see their new house in Eagle Mountain and then we came home and Dallin made pasta for dinner and we watched zooyopia.
