Dancing Queen 💃

This was the dress rehearsal for her first ever dance performance. it was so adorable to see her on a stage dancing in a costume that i thought my heart might burst. she was so excited to be wearing make up for the first time!

She did so amazing! 🤩 it was like she just decided- "i'm going to do this." she went from crying and refusing the practice before to doing it perfectly! it was so amazing her teacher came to praise her specifically for a long time at the end of the rehearsal.

we were learning all about the ocean and doing ocean art projects and practicing wearing swim suits putting on sunscreen, talking about what the plane would be like and looking at pics and vids of the house to know where they will stay, we watched a live video of underwater camera and learned about the different polynesian cultures, and cooper tried snorkeling in the tub, etc. we did everything we could to prepare for the vacation to hawaii and i think it was well worth it. lots of work but it was so fun to see them both getting excited about it and learning hawaiian words and stuff. They would get a coral on the coral reef for things they did and it was so cute they were pointing out things even in hawaii and long after it was down "oh that was great mommy you get a coral on teh coral reef for that!" or about a good thing they did! and i love that it is helping train their minds to see the positives

i thought it was funny that he named his eagle timothy lol and he said timothy wants to go to hawaii too and then the day before he said timothy changed his mind lol 

i've been walking with mariah every morning and it has been so nice! i think it starts off my day in such a positive way because it gets me outside, social, and we just have the best time i am loving it

i've been taking out all the rocks for where the grass will eventually go- but other than that no progress towards the yard

a little butt crack.... lol 

this was the last music class for the semester

playing in the mud is still fun for them evne tho we don't have a yard yet

She did so well! it was so cute!!

our friend ryan went to the same studio so we got to watch him with meghan and kyle as well and my mom came and it was great!

Her teacher miss allie was so patient and kind and made her experience such a good one which is improtant for a first experience of something so now she wants to keep dancing so its so cute and makes me so happy

She said "i'm so proud of me! and Gigi said she proud of me!" and she was so pumped that my mom gave her flowers and just felt so special. it was also so cute to see cooper supporting her! he was saying "wow she's so brave! shes doing so good! wow kinders so pretty!" while she was up there it was adorable.

These videos are gold because you can see her cute-ness while hearing coopers cute commentary lol 😂 he didn't see the point in being quiet during the dances like everyone else in the audience

in the second dance the girl next to her was crying and standing there with a helper who was trying to get her to dance and so i was impressed that mckinley was still able to focus and do the dance with that distraction and worry and change to the usual situation
